FLTC Class (Blog setup)

Instructions:
STEP 1
Create a BLOGGER account and blog (only if you are new to this class), go to WWW.blogger.com

Write down your email and password so you won't lose it!

STEP 2
Give the name of the blog you create to the instructor.

STEP 3
Subscribe to the class' blog.(right side of the page "Seguidores de este blog")

STEP 4
Make sure your blog link appears in the blog list on the right. (right column of the page) If it doesn't talk to the instructor so she can add you.

STEP 5
Practice posting by writing a post about yourself in Spanish. If you already have one then improve the one you already have.

STEP 6
If you use Facebook, add a badge for your classmates to find you in it. The instructor has created a Facebook account for the class, look for it "SPAN 202 Spring 2010" and become a member.

If you have completed the QUIA workbook and laboratory exercises and have attended "La Tertulia", and you need more minutes to satisfy your lab requirement (100 minutes a week), you can do any of the following activities for minutes and post your comments in the blog:

• Película/Programa de TV: Watch movies/TV shows in Spanish and comment about it in your blog 50-75 words – worth 50 minutes, Ex. Title format: Película: "El Laberinto del Fauno" (50 lab minutes minutes)
  

• Evento: Attend an event related to Hispanic culture and write your comments about it 50-75 words and post pictures in your blog. – worth 100 minutes. Ex.Title format: Evento: "Hispanic fest St. Louis" (100 lab minutes)

• Otro: If you have any other ideas/suggestions, check with your instructor to see if this will count as lab minutes.

In order to access the audio, video, and extra activities you need to go to the IMAGINA SuperSite and type as username and password "siuestudent"
